FAQ

What is Carefree Quilting?
Carefree Quilting is a quilting technique I created that involves folding and sewing a single piece (or a few panels) of fabric. In the end, your quilt looks like it was pieced from several different fabrics.

What equipment or supplies will I need to make my quilt?
You need a sewing machine, scissors, a seam ripper, pins, an iron, and thread to make your quilt top. To finish your quilt you will need fabric for the binding and backing, as well as batting.

What is included with my quilt kit?
Your kit includes all the fabric needed for your quilt top. Additionally, you will receive a digital pattern with your quilt kit.

Do I need a pattern to make my quilt?
Yes! All quilt kits include a free digital pattern, because you'll need to follow the pattern to ensure your quilt is completed correctly. All patterns feature digital illustrations and are easy to follow.

Is Carefree Quilting difficult?
No, all Carefree Quilts are beginner level projects. It will be helpful to have a basic understanding of sewing techniques, including how to finish your quilt (binding, quilting, etc.) Your digital pattern includes all instructions on how to make your quilt top, but does not go in detail on how to bind or quilt your quilt.

What shipping options are available?
All orders receive free standard shipping worldwide and arrive within 1-3 weeks of purchase. For additional information related to shipping, please click here

Do you accept returns?
All quilt kits are printed especially for you, so we cannot accept returns.

Is your fabric machine washable?
Yes. Our fabric manufacturer recommends washing all fabrics with a phosphate-free detergent in cool/cold water on a gentle or delicate machine cycle.
